You aren’t helping yourself by relying on drink or drugs (legal or illegal) to get through this pain. You could easily drive your wife further away with any of the above tactics. You could even end up with a stretch behind bars. And that will kill your hopes.
You need to make sure you don’t wreck what chances you do have. It’s pointless making plans to get your wife back if you are going to blow it. You could easily see your plans in tatters.

There’s a system out there with your name on it. Seriously! You probably already realise but you’re not the first to get dumped and hope to “get my wife back”. You definitely won’t be the last either.
